Tragedy in Tucson...

Packing up the rental car to depart Tucson on Tuesday, my luggage was stolen from the open trunk when I left it for a moment to get my laptop bag from the other side of the fence at the house where I was staying.
This happened in broad daylight in downtown Tucson, in a residential neighborhood.
I called 911 and the police came and took a report, but basically gave me no hope of ever recovering any of my things. Whoever stole my suitcases was definitely driving a car or truck, and most likely headed straight for Mexico,
where my personal belongings were dumped and the valuables were pawned or sold on the street.
According to the police and some friends who live there, Tucson is plagued with deperately poor people, drug addicts, and illegals, who prey on the visitors to the gem show.
I was only a few feet away from the car when it happened and only turned my back for less than 5 minutes, so whoever did this was most likely watching me load the car and waiting for me to go get the rest of my stuff, as it happened so quickly and quietly.

Everything I have made over the past four years was stolen; my entire inventory of glass beads and handmade jewelry, as well as all of my checks, credit cards, invoices, and income from the show, purchases I had made at the show and afterwards in Tucson! Missing items include: Glass beads attached to small black cards with gold price stickers on the front,
Necklaces, earrings, and bracelets made with semi precious gems and glass beads,
Clothing, personal belongings and jewelry,
Beads and tools, glass, display items, contacts and catalogs,
Invoices and receipts, sales records, Checks made out to "Liquid Sand Studio", credit card slips, etc.
